Salt Guard Hawaii is a mobile corrosion-protection service built specifically for what island driving does to a vehicle: constant salt air, ocean spray on coastal roads, and humidity that never really lets metal dry out. Mainland rustproofing schedules don't account for any of that.

We started Salt Guard to bring real undercarriage protection to Oahu drivers without the drive to a shop — we come to your driveway, your workplace, or your fleet lot, inspect the vehicle, and treat what we find on the spot.

Every visit starts with a wash and a hands-on inspection underneath the vehicle — because rust often hides where you can't see it until it's lifted. We treat what we find, not just what you tell us.

Undercarriage wash

A thorough mobile wash to clear built-up salt, sand, and road grime from the frame, wheel wells, and underbody — the first step on every visit.

Included on every visit

Rust treatment

If we find active corrosion once we're underneath, we treat it on the spot. Treated areas need about 24 hours to cure before sealing.

Only if rust is found

Protective seal

A preventative sealant applied after the wash (or after the rust treatment cures) to slow future corrosion from Hawaii's salt air.

Same visit, or next-day if treated

How scheduling works

To keep travel efficient — and pricing reasonable — we work one area of Oahu at a time, in two-day blocks, before moving to the next.

Once we're in your area, most vehicles are done in a single visit. If we find rust that needs treatment, we return the next day for the seal — no extra trip needed on your end.

Rust conversion is a one-time treatment per affected area — it won't need retreating. New rust can still form elsewhere over time in Hawaii's salt air, which is exactly why the annual reseal below matters: it's what prevents the next spot from starting.

Annual reseal (returning customers): if your seal has been maintained on schedule, no rust inspection or re-treatment is needed — just a discounted reseal, scaled by vehicle size. Recommended every 6 months for heavy beach-goers, coastal living, or Windward side residents; every 12 months for lower-exposure, more sheltered parking.
